This was a bit of animation we did for an independent documentary that was never produced. So basically we did it for free. I still like it though. It was about a paranoid schizophrenic writer living in Hollywood.

Scott Scanlon is Kenneth Parcell

It is believed that Scott accidently killed himself. The story is that at his own birthday party Scott finds his fathers gun in a drawer while looking for candle lighting materials. He pulls the gun out and plays around with it by spinning it around on one finger. His only friend David Silver asks him to stop. The gun goes off and Scott shoots himself in the gut, making him bleed on his mom's Persian rug, killing him. His last words were "check this out!"

Clearly he faked his death and is now a cheerful NBC Page at Rockefeller Center.
